About
Why EcoSense Exists?
You can't fix the country's waste crisis by yourself. But you can stop it at your own kitchen counter, and that's the one place it actually starts.
The Scale of the problem
India wastes 78–80 million tonnes of food every year, worth an estimated ₹1.55 lakh crore, while 194 million Indians remain undernourished.

The Waste We Don’t See
That waste ends up in places like Delhi's Ghazipur landfill, now nearly as tall as the Taj Mahal, one of roughly 3,000 landfills across India in a similar state.
India produces more landfill methane than any other country on earth.
Here’s the part that changes things
60% of all food waste happens at the household level
- Not in restaurants
- Not in retail
Which means the biggest lever in this entire crisis isn’t a government policy. It’s a kitchen counter.

An Old Idea, A New Method
Then
A heap, and weeks of turning.
Returning kitchen scraps to the soil is not a new idea. Done the traditional way it is simply slow: a heap in the yard, turned by hand, weeks of waiting before any of it is usable.

Now
A machine, and twenty-four hours.
EcoSense keeps the idea and takes out the waiting. The same scraps go in, and usable compost comes out in about 24 hours.
WhoWe Are
EcoSense is the result of that engineering discipline applied to a problem that starts in every Indian home.

Who We Are
EcoSense is manufactured by Janatics Industrial Automation Private Limited, based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Engineers first, with a manufacturing standard built for reliability, not just a good idea. EcoSense is the result of that engineering discipline applied to a problem that starts in every Indian home.
Our Mission
To take the one part of India's waste crisis that is actually within reach, the kitchen counter, and make dealing with it an ordinary part of the day rather than a project.

Extra time
Tolerance for mess
A change in how you already live
Effortless enough that doing the right thing stops requiring extra time, tolerance for mess, or a change in how you already live.
Your kitchen scraps don't have to become someone else's problem.
